And there aren’t any strange quirks, like eating a grapefruit before each meal. With the acai berry diet, all you have to do is include the acai berry (either in food form, in capsule form, or both) with your regular meals.

But maybe you are skeptical of how these particular fruits could help you lose weight. Perhaps you think that there is no way that berries from Central and South America could possibly do anything to boost weight loss.

You aren’t alone in being skeptical; however, the acai berry has been proven to be a nutritional powerhouse. These fruits are filled with an incredible amount of vitamins and minerals. They also contain more antioxidants than any other fruit. Acai berries are rich in fiber, fatty acids, and plant compounds. All of these nutrients work together to aid in keeping your body healthy. They also help to increase your energy and speed up your metabolism.

By incorporating the acai berry into your everyday diet, your body will quickly become much more healthy and well balanced. And, because of this, losing weight will be easier. After all, with your energy and metabolism increased, your body will have the natural ability to burn the excess fat that you are carrying.

Acai berry diets are actually rather simple. All you need to do is decide how you want to consume the acai berry. You can opt for capsules, acai berry pulp (in either frozen or powdered form), or acai juice. Fresh acai berries provide the best nutritional benefits. But, because the berries are so highly perishable, unless you are in Central or South America where the acai palm trees grow, it simply isn’t possible to have the berries in their fresh state. Fortunately, manufacturers have found a way to produce acai berry pulp. This pulp has nearly the same benefits as the fresh berries, yet it can be exported anywhere in the world.

It is common these days to see acai as an ingredient in various juices, smoothies, and even energy bars and other foods. But, just like any other food, the more it is processed, the less nutrient dense it becomes. This is why it is best to look for acai berry pulp. It is sold raw and unprocessed (though it is either sold in powdered or frozen form), so it hasn’t lost any nutritional or health benefits.

You may also consider acai berry juice; in fact, juicing the acai berries is the most common way that they are manufactured and prepared for exporting out of the country. But, acai juice lacks at least one of the nutrients that the acai berry pulp contains—fiber. During the juicing process, most of the fiber in the acai berries is lost. And, since this fruit is a good source of fiber if it is consumed in either fresh or pulp form, it makes better sense to seek out the pulp if possible.

There are two types of acai berry pulp you can purchase—acai berry powder or frozen acai berry pulp. Both are equally nutrient rich, and both preserve nearly all of the advantages of the fresh fruit. There is a major difference between berry powder and frozen pulp, though—the taste. Frozen pulp keeps the unique chocolate berry flavor of the acai berries intact, whereas berry powder tends to lose a great deal of the flavor. So, if the taste is important to you, you may want to stick with the frozen pulp.

Frozen acai berry pulp is made by using a flash freezing process. The berries are picked from the tree, cleaned, de seeded, and frozen (sometimes all while still in the forest) within 18 to 24 hours. The frozen pulp can then be shipped out. Depending upon the company that is doing the manufacturing, the pulp may be either pure acai (which is preservative free and soy lethicin free) or the pulp may have something added to it. It is not uncommon for companies to add sweeteners like evaporated cane juice whole grape puree, for example. Or, they may supplement the pulp with an additive like guarana, which is known to increase stamina and suppress the appetite. Avoid companies that add caffeine or sugar, as these can work against some of the health benefits of the acai.

Powder made from the acai berry pulp is sold in two forms. It can be purchased either in pure powder form or in the form of capsules filled with powder. When purchasing either, look for a brand that is free of any fillers or additives—the powder should be 100% pure acai.

What is the Best Type of Acai Berry Drink?

Anyone who has taken the time to do their research about the acai berry knows two things: one, that it’s not all that it’s hyped up to be and two, it needs to be properly processed in order to maintain its nutritional value. Unfortunately, most companies out there that sell acai products are not concerned with providing a good product – they just want to make money. As such, there are a lot of products out there that claim to give you amazing acai berry benefits but they simply don’t deliver.

One type of acai berry product that really doesn’t live up to expectation is acai juice. This sort of acai berry drink loses much of the nutritional value of the acai berry during its processing. Most juices won’t have many of the antioxidants, fibers and the Omega fats that are pretty much the whole reason for wanting acai berry in the first place. They still may have some health benefits, but probably not much more than other types of fruit and vegetable health juices. Basically, you should only drink acai berry juices over less expensive juices if you like the taste.

When buying an acai berry drink, you also want to be careful to check out the ingredients. Many juices on the market that are labeled as acai actually have very little acai berry in them. They’re often blended with other fruit juices. While this may create some better tasting juices, it also means that you’re getting less of the acai nutrients that you’re looking for.

One of the types of acai berry products that tend to be of better quality is acai berry purees. A good acai berry drink is pretty much the closest you can come to getting a pure whole acai berry without making a trip to Brazil. A good acai berry drink is made by separating the flesh (which contains the nutrients of the berry) from the seed and crushing it up into a puree. Using a process called “flash pasteurizing,” the puree is quickly heated and then bottled, thus preserving many of the beneficial elements of acai berries.

The main problem with this type of acai product is simply that it can be difficult to find. It does not keep well in this form, so most common supermarkets won’t stock it. You may have to visit a specialty health food store of order the acai berry purees online. Also, since you’re getting high quality product in glass bottles, you can expect to be paying top dollar.

There are also some acai products that stand on the middle ground between pure purees and the heavily diluted juices. These products are made from a puree but are slightly diluted with other ingredients. However, these ingredients often have health benefits of their own and are designed to create a thoroughly nutritious package.

There are a lot of tricks to watch out for when buying acai. The most important thing to remember is to shop around and check ingredients when you’re looking for acai berry products.

At first glance, acai berry powder seems like it has a lot of benefits. It doesn’t need to be refrigerated like other acai products, so it’s easy to take on trips or take to work with you every day. If you don’t like the strong taste of acai, then acai berry powder can be added to something you do like so you don’t have to taste it as much. You can mix it in with a tasty smoothie or even yogurt and get the health benefits without even noticing that you’re consuming acai.

While those benefits can be nice, it’s important to understand how the acai got into powder form. There are several different methods by which acai can be preserved, and not all of them actually maintain the high levels of antioxidants, fibers, and Omega fats that make acai as healthy as it is. For instance, some companies use methods such as spray drying and drum drying to preserve acai berries. These methods use heat to remove excess water from the berries, but end up destroying most of the nutrients in the process.

If you want to find the best quality acai berry powder products, then you need to look for products that are freeze dried. Unlike the other methods of preservation, freeze drying uses cold instead of heat. This method lets the berry keep most of its nutrients intact so that you get the full effect of the acai.

Oprah talked about it on her show, infomercials spend an hour every night dancing around what the product actually does, and web pages all over the internet are trying to get you to try their product free. The acai berry itself has a lot of nutritional value, but when products only contain a small portion of the acai berry, benefit may not be a word used to describe the product in any way. Alternatively, eating some of the same acai berry foods mixtures that are popular in Brazil may be enough to start seeing the benefits. Fruit smoothies and granola mixes are healthy and a great way to include acai berries in your diet.

The acai berry has the potential to be a great way to lose weight and improve your overall health. It can curb your appetite and some studies have shown that it reduces the amount of fat that your body naturally wants to absorb and increases your fat burning capacity. With all of the other vitamins and minerals in them, health nuts can throw away their cabinet of supplements because the acai berry can replace all of them. Companies are marketing acai as some sort of wonder food that can apparently do just about anything, from helping you lose weight to protecting you against cancer. The question is, how much about acai is myth, and how much if fact?

In order to understand the value of acai, it may help to learn more about the origins of this fruit. Acai berry only grows in the Amazon rainforest in a certain part of Brazil. That is probably why it hasn’t gotten any attention until a couple of years ago, despite being eaten by the natives there for a long time. With all the claims about acai, you’d think that the people who ate them regularly would be some kind of immortals, but that is clearly not the case.

Actually, the benefits of acai can be summed up in one simple phrase: “it’s a really healthy food.” It’s important not to be taken in by all the hype and excitement about the acai berry. At the end of the day, it is nothing more than really healthy food. It has been labeled by nutrition experts as the most nutrient dense food on the planet. This simply means that, pound for pound, acai has more healthy stuff in it than most other foods out there. By all means you should consume acai berries if you can, but it’s important to make sure that you’re getting the genuine article and that you’re not getting ripped off.

One of the problems is that acai quickly loses its nutritional value once it’s cut from the tree. It takes about 24 hours for the berry to die, at which point it has lost most of its value.
